Controls Automation Engineer

The mission of BCI is to provide high end, flexible Batch systems with an ERP interface to manufacturing clients in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and pet food industries.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer projects to agreed upon schedule and scope
- Design/develop PLC programs
- Design/develop HMI applications
- Test/debug hardware and software solutions
- Commission systems on site and ensure successful hand off to customer
- Complete project documentation
- Troubleshoot/diagnose control system problems
Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering: Electrical, Mechanical, or related, EIT preferred
- 2-4 years minimum experience with duties as outlined above
- Project Management experience
- PLC programming experience: Primarily Rockwell Logix family and/or Siemens or Modicon
- Experience with using FT View, Wonderware, Ignition, or Intellution
- Schematic design experience: wiring, power distribution and loading, panel layouts, P&IDs
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours as required by customers
- Ability to travel to job-sites
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Other Requirements
- Valid US driver’s License
- Ability to work in the US without restriction
- Must pass drug screenings and background check
