BCI Named 2008 System Integrator of the Year
Bachelor Controls, Inc. has been named Control Engineering magazine’s 2008 System Integrator of the Year in the “Up to $10 Million Annual Revenue” category. Control Engineering Consulting Editor Dr. Vance VanDoren. VanDoren worked with the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) and other industry leaders to judge entries from system integrators from all over the world. Submitting system integration firms were split into three categories – based on annual revenue – and each firm was judged on achievements in the areas of technical expertise, business skills, and customer satisfaction. (BCI was recognized as a Finalist in the “Up to $10 Million Annual Revenue” category in 2007.)

The Journal / SP News — Plantwide Automation Article
BCI is chosen for the first article in a new series entitled SP News, a new section of The Journal showcasing work completed by Rockwell Automation Solution Providers. Ethanol Production Control System Retrofit/Upgrade
BCI recently completed a complete control system retrofit/upgrade for Golden Triangle Energy ethanol production facility. BCI replaced an obsolete Bailey Symphony control system with a newer, more flexible Allen-Bradley control system. Leveraging systematic project methodology and project management practices, BCI engineers and programmers implemented the new system during a single, scheduled five-day shutdown.

BCI Passes CSIA Audit...Again
Bachelor Controls passed the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) Best Practices & Benchmarks audit to maintain its CSIA Certified status. Every three years, Certified Members must undergo a rigorous audit process which measures companies against seven critical business areas. BCI is one of the first system integrators to pass the certification audit three times.
