Motion Control Technology

Since a large percentage of BCI's work is for the food processing and petfood industries, many of which have included motion control applications for the packaging process, BCI has an extensive background in motion control.

Additionally, since 1993, BCI has gained even more motion control experience by teaming with a leading metal fabrication and roll-forming equipment manufacturer. We have designed motion control systems for a number of different operations, including:

• Sophisticated feed roll management
• Machine indexing
• Material metering
• Automatic machine setup
• Pick and place

While we have a demonstrated proficiency at controlling servos, our distinctive capability is in integrating servos with all of the other operations in a production line.

What makes us stand apart from other systems integrators is that we take the time upfront to thoroughly understand your process and to think through how your production line is supposed to function. Using a prototype to simulate your plant's process, we work to identify everything that could go wrong and account for it in your control system ahead of time.

The result is that you get a control system that works right the first time it hits your plant floor.
