Bachelor Controls, Inc. has been named Control Engineering magazine’s 2008 System Integrator of the Year in the “Up to $10 Million Annual Revenue” category. Entries from system integrators from all over the world were split into three categories – based on annual revenue – and each firm was judged on achievements in the areas of technical expertise, business skills, and customer satisfaction.

The Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) — Thought Leaders for the Application of Technology in Industry — has awarded BCI Charter Certified Member status as one of the first systems integrators worldwide to pass CSIA’s landmark Best Practices and Benchmarks registration process, an intensive audit process measuring a company’s performance against criteria in seven business areas – Business Development, Financial Management, General Management, Human Resources, Project Management, Quality Management, and Technical Management.
BCI has been recognized as a Charter Rockwell Automation Solution Provider, one of a select group of systems integrators worldwide to meet Rockwell Automation’s “critical measures for operational excellence, application knowledge and customer satisfaction” and one of only three Solution Providers in the four-state region.
Many of BCI's programmers and IT specialists have earned Microsoft certifications in software development and network administration. These certifications, coupled with proven experience in key IT-related business competencies, has earned the firm membership in the Microsoft Certified Partner Program, a corporate certification based on the number of Microsoft-Certified programmers and network administrators on staff and proven IT-specific competencies and services.

ISNetworld is an on-line contractor/supplier management database that automates the relationship between contractors and their Owner Clients in
North America’s most capital-intensive industrial sectors. Owner Clients evaluate their contractor/supplier’s information to meet internal and governmental requirements. ISNetworld Review and Verification Services (RAVS) validates this information. (ISNetworld utilizes third party data wherever possible to create an added level of compliance record management and reporting integrity.) Additionally, contractor/suppliers use the system to manage training and record keeping requirements.


JHerbster Inc. provides project management services for the extrusion industry, including management of equipment installation (new or used) and removal, representation for purchase of new equipment, locating services for used equipment, and operator training and documentation.
The Kansas State University Extrusion Center is an important part of the Department of Grain Science and Industry, and is located in the Bioprocessing And Industrial Value Added Program (BIVAP). The Center provides services to the industry for pilot scale trial runs for various products, and to the academia for research and class-related runs.
